  Here is a super easy and delicious sausage recipe that is a great addition to any party menu - Perfect for watching the Patriot's game with friends.

  What You'll Need:

  • 2-3 lbs. sweet (or hot if you'd like) Italian sausage links **
  • 3 bell peppers (yellow, red, and orange for a good look) - sliced in 1-2 inch slices
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, freshly pressed
  • 1/4 cup of red wine (or beef broth)
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • sliced provolone cheese
  • Hoagie Rolls

  
  

  Let's Start Cooking!

  • Place all ingredients on slow cooker (except cheese)
  • Cook on LOW for 7 hours
  • Remove sausage links
  • Skim fat from slow cooker
  • Slice links into 1" disks
  • Return sausage to crock
  • Cook for an additional 30 minutes on HIGH
  • Serve with slotted spoon onto hoagie rolls with cheese

  Sausage Burgers

  Serves: 4 People

  These burgers can really pack some flavor depending on your choice of pork sausages. When Adding pork to the usual ground beef recipe, it can really give the burger another dimension. Experiment with anyone of our sausage flavors depending on your taste!

  What You'll Need:

  • 1/2 pound of pork sausages (your choice)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 minced glove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 roasted red bell pepper (store-bought)
  • Bread of your choice to serve

  
  

  Let's Start Cooking!

  • Open the sausage casings with a knife to get to the meat and combine with the ground beef in a bowl.
  • Add the garlic, onion, parsley and seasoning and mix.
  • Form into 4 patties with your hands and cook on a preheated grill for 5 minutes each side or until the meat is cooked.
  • Top the burgers with the cheese and a quarter of the roasted bell pepper.

  Smoked Sausage Jambalaya

  Serves: 8 People

  What You'll Need:

  • 1 pound pork andouille sausage, sliced crosswise 1/3 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups long-grain white rice (1 pound)
  • 1 (28-ounces) can diced tomatoes
  • 3 1/2 cups water

  
  

  Let's Start Cooking!

  • Cook sausage in oil in a wide 6-to 8-quart heavy pot over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until golden-brown, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl with a slotted spoon.
  • Cook peppers, celery, onion, scallions, garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in fat remaining in pot, stirring occasionally, until golden-brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Stir in rice, sausage, tomatoes with their juice, water, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Reduce heat and cook at a bare simmer, covered tightly with lid, until rice is tender and water is absorbed, about 25 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 10 minutes.
  • Fluff rice with a fork.
